The notion that the person does not exists stems from an insight into the true nature of existence itself. In that sense, all is Consciousness. The person does not exist just like your car, your house, money, sex, work, art, children, flowers, thoughts, emotions, valleys, rivers and mountains do not exist.
After the the dazzle of awakening and its subsequent mental dramatization wanes, things can become normal, and there is no need to indulge in non-dual platitudes, unless you enjoy that, of course.
Personally, let the feet feel the pressure of gravity against the ground; and leave its existence or non-existence to those who care about such ideas.
